WhatsApp presents a new design for its chats.

The popular messaging and video calling app, WhatsApp, has introduced the option to customize chat themes, thus enhancing the user experience. To activate this new feature, it is necessary to enter the Chats menu in the settings. There, you can select "Choose a new background," picking from the default options that are divided into two categories: Light and Dark. For those who prefer something more personal, there is the option to choose an image from the device's gallery. Additionally, users can adjust both the brightness of the background and the color of their outgoing messages.

Previously, chat themes were only available in beta versions of WhatsApp. When a theme is changed, it will apply to all conversations, although it is possible to customize each chat individually. The steps to do so vary depending on whether you are using an iPhone or an Android device. For iPhone, you can create a custom background for each conversation by accessing Contact or Group Info and then Background. On Android, you need to click on the three dots in the top right corner of the screen and select the chat theme.

The addition of chat themes is an excellent idea, and it's surprising that WhatsApp had not implemented this feature earlier. It is important to remember that any changes made will be visible only to the user who made them, while other participants in the chat will continue to see the theme according to their own settings.
