How to Participate in the Closed Test of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds.
Sonic returns to action in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, although the release date is still some time away. Below, we explain how to participate in the closed beta early.
The famous video game character Sonic, known for his speed, has also ventured into the world of racing, leading his games in this genre to rank among the best in the franchise. In this context, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds has been announced, a new video game that promises to take players on an exploration of different worlds. Although the release date has not yet been confirmed, Sega is organizing a closed network test that will allow some lucky players to try the game before its official launch.
To participate in this test, interested individuals only need a valid email address and a PS5 console. It is crucial to register before February 19, after which sign-ups will close. While the title will also be released on other platforms, this test is exclusively limited to PS5 players.
The registration process is simple:
- Access the official Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds website.
- Scroll down and select the Closed Network Test option.
- Read the rules and complete the form with your email address, date of birth, full name, country, and platform. Note that you will also receive additional emails from Sega.
- Wait until February 20, when the selected participants will be notified and provided with instructions to access the test. It’s worth mentioning that registration does not guarantee a spot, but it is not based on the order of registration, meaning everyone has the same chance if they register before February 19.
For those who manage to be selected, the test will take place from February 21 at 4:00 PM to February 23 at 4:00 PM. During this period, participants will have access to six tracks, five crossover worlds, nine characters, and 16 vehicles. Some of the available characters in the test include Sonic, Tails, Amy, Knuckles, Shadow, Eggman, Omega, Zazz, and Cream. Additionally, participants will receive an exclusive bonus in the full game upon its release.
