Tips for Earning Legacy Points in Civilization 7.

Legacy Points are a new feature in Civilization 7 that reflect your progress toward a total victory. The method for obtaining them is not entirely clear, so below we provide more information on the subject.

The historical series of 4X games, Civilization, receives a new installment with Civilization VII, which introduces significant advancements in its gameplay, as well as a Legacy Points system that is crucial for the player's progression. These Legacy Points are essential not only for advancing to new Ages but also for granting bonuses and upgrades as your civilization develops. Earning these points is a complex task, but they are fundamental for achieving victory.

To obtain Legacy Points, players must complete milestones throughout the four main Legacy Paths. Each path follows the progression towards one of the four victory conditions: Culture, Economic, Military, and Scientific. Within each path, there are three milestones that offer a Legacy Point as a reward before restarting upon entering the next Age. This significantly contributes to the progression of that Age, and each completed milestone grants a Legacy Point. It is important to note that the milestones vary depending on the path and the Age. For example, one of the early milestones in the Scientific path is to research writing and build a library, while in the new Age, it's necessary to research education and place four specialists.

Legacy Points can be earned simultaneously across multiple paths, but to win the game, it is essential to focus on completing one of them, as spreading attention too thin can lead to delays in progress.

In my experience with the first hundred plays of Civilization VII, I started playing as Persia in the Ancient Era and quickly expanded my civilization through conquest, capturing more settlements than I founded. My empire grew stronger as I advanced to the Exploration Era, where Persia became Mongolia. By the hundredth turn, I had formed a large army and initiated several wars, although I explored little of the new world. My aggressive playstyle has made me thoroughly enjoy this new installment and all the changes it brings with it.
