The upcoming budget phone from Samsung features a more attractive design than its expensive flagship models.

Leaked images of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A36 show a design that appears to be more sleek and dynamic compared to the expensive Galaxy S phones.

Samsung continues to amaze us with its innovations and proposals. In the past, the company created a belt, known as Welt, that featured a hidden micro-USB port. Additionally, it also acts as a contractor for the Korean army, manufacturing armored vehicles for customers abroad. Although they showcase interesting robots, many of them never make it to the market. Nonetheless, despite its diversity, Samsung has the ability to make its low-end phones look better than its high-end models.

Recently, 360-degree images of the upcoming Galaxy A36 leaked, a smartphone rumored to be available in appealing colors, in addition to the traditional black and white. The standout colors include lime yellow and purple, which feature a striking iridescent finish. It is expected that, like its predecessor, the Galaxy A35, its successor will maintain IP67 water and dust resistance.

The company has used these colors before, so it's not surprising. However, there are subtler changes that have not yet been seen even in its most premium phones. On one hand, there is a slight bulge on the right edge for the power and volume buttons. While it's not an award-winning design, it stands out at a time when Samsung tends to recycle the same basic design across its phone lineup.

On the back, a new design can be seen in the camera module. Instead of contrasting or floating lenses, it features a vertically oval black bump that contrasts with the glossy back casing. The Galaxy A36 adopts the same fundamental design as the upcoming Galaxy A56, offering a fresh look and preventing it from getting lost among Samsung's extensive product catalog that tends to look identical.

The phone is not expected to take long to hit the market. With the model number SM-A366B, it was recently spotted on Geekbench with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC. While it's not the fastest or the latest in the Gen 6 series, it makes sense given that the Galaxy A36 could be priced around $400. However, there are rumors that it could incorporate a newer chip or even a powerful processor from the Gen 7 series. Additionally, it is expected to support 45W fast charging, matching the charging speed of the Galaxy S25 Ultra, which costs $1,300.

The rest of the specifications would include a 120Hz OLED display and a 50-megapixel main sensor. With this set, the Galaxy A36 promises to be a well-balanced package that could surprise consumers with excellent value for money by the end of this year. Could this be a hint of a new aesthetic shift in the Galaxy S series? Only time will tell.
