Too Many WhatsApp Groups? A Solution to This Problem is Coming.
If you're feeling overwhelmed by being part of too many groups and are looking for a solution, a new update could be released soon to help you. This new feature, which has been detected, is expected to arrive in a forthcoming stable update. For now, you can use a chat or broadcast list to send a single message to multiple contacts.
A new WhatsApp update could make life easier for those in too many chat groups and looking for an alternative. This feature, which has been observed in the beta version of the app, is expected to be implemented in a stable update in the near future. Currently, a broadcast list can be used to send a single message to multiple recipients, which avoids the need to create a new group. However, the problem lies in the lack of control over the messages sent.
The upcoming addition of a "limit messages" feature would change this, as it will allow users to set a limit on the number of messages that can be sent in a broadcast list over a specific period. For example, if the limit is set to 30 days, a total of 30 messages can be sent during that time. WhatsApp will display, at the top of the broadcast, how many recipients are included and how many messages are left to send. This feature appears as an alert in the beta version.
For those who want to try this new broadcast chat feature, it is currently only available in WhatsApp beta for Android 2.25.10.8. You need to be part of the Google Play Beta Program to access it, or wait for it to be released in the stable version of WhatsApp in the near future.
On another note, this news comes after the recent iOS 18.4 update, which allows iPhone users to set WhatsApp as their default service for both messaging and calls. To enable this option, it's necessary to update to iOS 18.2 or higher and go to Settings, then Apps, and finally Default Apps.
Other new features in the realm of WhatsApp include the ability to have multiple accounts on a single device, a feature that Android users have enjoyed since 2023 and that could now be implemented for iPhone users in the near future.
