The Final Fantasy game for iOS is shutting down due to an irreparable error.

The error prevented users from accessing the content they had paid for.

Square Enix has decided to discontinue the iOS version of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles and has removed the game from the App Store due to a technical issue that prevents users from accessing content they have already paid for. The company indicated that this issue arises from changes in the in-app purchase structure. According to the company, after further investigation, it was determined that it was not possible to fully fix the error or implement the new adjustments, making it unlikely that service will be restored for this specific title.

Reports about this problem began to come in on January 24 and affect the full version of the game. Square Enix has mentioned that players who made in-app purchases in January 2024 or later can request a refund through Apple Support.

Despite this situation, Square Enix has confirmed that Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles will remain available and compatible on other platforms, including Android, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch.
