Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 users experience long loading times on launch day.

Players trying to start Flight Simulator 2024 on their Xbox Series X/S consoles or on PC are experiencing extraordinarily long initial loading times.

Several users who tried to play Flight Simulator 2024 encountered lengthy loading times, according to a notice posted on the official support page for the simulator. Many reported that the loading screen became stuck, which has generated frustration within the community.

The publication indicates that the problem is due to the high demand for connection requests to the game servers, an aspect that apparently was not anticipated by Microsoft. To resolve the issue, it is suggested to restart both the computer and the console if the loading exceeds 90% and then gets stuck. If the loading is below this percentage, it is recommended to simply wait for the process to continue normally. Some users, like Kris Holt, experienced wait times of up to 45 minutes on the loading screen.

The release of Flight Simulator 2024 marked its arrival in the Game Pass Ultimate catalog, available for both PC and Xbox Series X/S as well as through the cloud. Microsoft has recommended that the game be run on computers equipped with an AMD Ryzen 7 2700X processor, a Radeon RX 5700 XT graphics card, 8 GB of VRAM, 32 GB of RAM, and at least 50 GB of storage space.
