"Alien: Romulus reveals its release date on Disney Plus, three months after its arrival on Hulu, and will be available very soon."

Streaming fans outside the United States will soon stop feeling overlooked.

Alien: Romulus will arrive on Disney Plus on January 15, 2025, promising to be a great start to the new year. This horror and science fiction movie, which has a critical rating of 79% on Rotten Tomatoes—only surpassed by the first two installments of the franchise—was initially released in theaters last August and, after a successful run at the box office, became available on Hulu in November. However, until now, it had only been viewable in the United States, which created significant anticipation for its launch on Disney's platform.

Starting January 15, Disney Plus subscribers will be able to enjoy Alien: Romulus, and it is expected that its positive reception will make it one of the best movies available on the service. Although the film had already arrived in other formats, like VHS prior to its release on Hulu, it is a relief that it is finally available on Disney's main platform.

Regarding the plot, Alien: Romulus follows a group of six space colonists who, while exploring an abandoned space station, encounter hostile creatures. The film was directed by Fede Álvarez, known for his work in horror titles like Evil Dead and Don't Breathe. Despite its moderate success, it recently received a BAFTA Rising Star nomination for David Jonsson, who plays Andy in this anticipated installment of the genre.

With an imaginative storyline, a talented cast, and a series of references to previous Alien films, it is expected that both new fans and veterans of the saga will enjoy this new offering.
