Xbox partners with professional darts player Luke Littler ahead of the PDC World Darts Championship.
Win a customized Series S console.
Xbox has established a new collaboration with professional darts player Luke ‘The Nuke’ Littler, just ahead of the PDC World Darts Championship. This significant event will take place at Alexandra Palace in London from December 15, 2024, to January 3, 2025.
As part of this partnership, Littler will wear a shirt featuring the Xbox logo and the Score More with Xbox campaign. For fans following his performance, there will be an additional incentive, as his achievements will be linked to rewards for the community. Each time he scores a 180, finishes a game with nine darts, or wins a match, the number of available prizes will increase. Among the items that can be won are digital copies of EA Sports FC 25, subscriptions to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, EA Sports FC 25 points for in-game purchases, as well as a customized Xbox Series S console and an Xbox wireless controller.
To announce the collaboration, a new trailer has been released in which Littler appears as a giant green Xbox comet crashing to the earth. The video provides a glimpse of the customized console that will be raffled off: a black 1TB Xbox Series S with a neon green graffiti design. Additionally, the ventilation grid features a design reminiscent of a dartboard, which is quite an original idea.
Luke Littler, who is an enthusiast of Xbox video games, expressed his excitement about partnering with the brand, saying he looks forward to combining his two great passions: darts and gaming. He appreciates the opportunity to offer many rewards to fans through his performance in the championship. On the other hand, Samuel Bateman, Xbox's marketing lead for the UK and Ireland, commented that it was natural to team up with Littler, given his love for gaming and the authenticity this collaboration represents. He also encouraged fans in the UK to follow Xbox UK's social media for chances to win amazing prizes based on his performance in the championship.
This agreement is part of the Score More with Xbox program, which aims to make Xbox the most rewarding platform for sports fans in the UK.
