The Sky Glass Gen 2 features a brighter screen and improved sound.

Available in 43, 55, or 65-inch models.

Sky Glass, an all-in-one television that combines a six-speaker soundbar and a 4K Quantum Dot display, was launched in late 2021. Now, its successor has been unveiled: the Sky Glass Gen 2. One of the standout improvements is the sound quality, which now includes a Dolby Atmos sound system with seven speakers and a new dual subwoofer.

The new Sky Glass model also features a brighter 4K Quantum Dot display, a wider viewing angle, and better contrast. Additionally, it comes with a redesigned stand that attaches directly to the television without the need for screws. It is also compatible with universal wall mounts.

However, many aspects remain the same between the new model and its predecessor. The basic features of the television are still the same, including Sky Originals, Sky Exclusives, and access to apps like BBC iPlayer and Netflix. The Gen 2 model retains the Playlist feature, which allows users to add their favorite series and movies to a dedicated tab. Furthermore, it is still available in sizes of 43 inches, 55 inches, and 65 inches. However, the new model is offered in three new colors: Volcanic Grey, Arctic Silver, and Atlantic Blue.

The prices for the Sky Glass Gen 2 are £699 for the 43-inch model, £949 for the 55-inch model, and £1,199 for the 65-inch model.
