The new custom lists on WhatsApp make it easier to organize your conversations.

It should make it easier to search for specific conversations.

WhatsApp has introduced a new feature to facilitate the organization of conversations within the app. Users can now group their chats into custom categories called Lists. This feature is ideal for those who have difficulty locating certain conversations, as it allows them to categorize specific chats, such as those from family members or coworkers.

Users will be able to see these lists at the top of their inbox, alongside the "All," "Unread," and "Groups" filters, which were implemented earlier this year.

To create a list, you simply need to tap the "+" icon in the filter bar at the top of the chats tab. From there, you can enter a name for the list and select the conversations you want to add. WhatsApp allows adding both group chats and individual conversations to these lists. If you have multiple lists, you will be able to scroll horizontally through the filter bar to view each one.

This Lists feature will start to be available from today, and it can already be seen in the Android version of the app. If it doesn’t appear immediately, there’s no need to worry, as the platform has indicated that it will be enabled for all users in the coming weeks.
