Razer will soon allow you to stream your PC game library to your phone.

Soon, an update to the Razer Nexus app will allow you to stream your PC games to mobile devices.

Razer has launched a new streaming feature for mobile devices called PC Remote Play, available starting today through a free update of the Razer Nexus app. This feature will allow gamers to easily stream their PC game library to mobile devices. The announcement was made as part of the lineup Razer showcased at CES 2025, where other interesting devices were also revealed, such as the Handheld Dock Chroma and an AI-based esports coach known as Project Ava.

The PC Remote Play proposition is quite straightforward: players will be able to access their PC game library, including Steam, through the Nexus app. From there, it will be possible to stream games to any device compatible with the app, whether it's a phone, tablet, or another PC. To enhance the experience, the feature will allow for full-screen viewing without black bars on the sides when using a "device optimization mode," which turns off the PC screen instead of a standard mirroring mode.

Regarding streaming quality, Razer claims that PC Remote Play offers no compromises in either quality or speed, although few additional details are provided. However, it is known that streams will benefit from devices with 120Hz displays. As is common with this type of gaming technology, stream quality will depend on the user's internet connection.

To make the most of this new feature, it is recommended to use the Razer Kishi Ultra, launched in 2024. This highly successful mobile controller is compatible with both Android and iOS devices and fits tablets up to 8 inches and phones. This $150 accessory features RGB lighting and Razer Sensa HD vibration technology. The controller's haptic features will be compatible with streamed games, but only on Android devices.

Starting today, PC Remote Play is available in the Razer Nexus app.
