Onkyo unveils its Creator series speakers at CES 2025.
The new powered speakers from Onkyo are available in two sizes and two colors, catering to various needs.
In the framework of CES 2025, Onkyo has officially unveiled its new series of amplified monitors, the Creator Series. While the launch of a single model had been anticipated, the company surprised everyone by introducing two options: the larger model, GX-30ARC, which features HDMI-ARC and is priced at $299, and the more compact GX-10DB, which does not include HDMI, priced at $199. Both models will be available in black and white, and they include infrared remote controls and angled bases with a wood-like finish. The company expects these products to go on sale in the second half of 2025.
Onkyo has also revealed its new range of hi-fi separates, Icon. The collaboration between Onkyo and Klipsch has been notable, as both brands worked together on developing the Flexus soundbar line in 2024. Although Klipsch's involvement in the Creator Series has not been mentioned, design similarities can be observed between Klipsch's The Sevens speakers and Onkyo's GX-30ARC, particularly in the cable connectors.
The Creator Series is designed to cater to music lovers, digital content creators, musicians, and gamers, utilizing DSP technology to manage dynamic range and reproduce all the details in music, from deep bass to clear mid and high frequencies. Below are the main specifications for each model:
