Some iPhone 14 Plus Models Have Camera Issues, But Apple Could Fix It at No Cost.

Apple has the ability to verify your phone's serial number to determine if it is eligible.

Apple has introduced a new service program aimed at repairing iPhone 14 Plus devices that are experiencing issues with the rear cameras not displaying a preview. According to the information provided by Apple, a small percentage of these devices, manufactured between April 10, 2023, and April 28, 2024, may experience this rear camera failure.

Users of an iPhone 14 Plus who believe they are affected can check their status by entering the device's serial number on the program’s webpage. If their phone is one of the affected units, Apple or an Authorized Service Provider will perform the repair at no cost. Additionally, if a user has previously paid for a repair related to the camera, it is advised to contact Apple to inquire about the possibility of receiving a refund. This service program will cover eligible devices for three years from the date of their initial sale.

Apple typically launches such service programs to address various issues with its products, similar to the ones affecting the receivers of the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro, or the static sound problem in the AirPods Pro.
