Live for the 30th Anniversary of Warcraft: How to Watch and What to Expect
Blizzard Entertainment has revealed an online event that will explore the history and future of the Warcraft franchises, including some surprises.
Blizzard Entertainment will host a special event to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Warcraft series, instead of the traditional BlizzCon. This broadcast will take place on November 13 at 10 a.m. PT and will focus on reflecting on the past and future of Warcraft.
The broadcast will cover all franchises of Warcraft, including World of Warcraft, Hearthstone, Warcraft Rumble, and the original installment: Warcraft: Orcs and Humans. In addition to a historical overview, future plans for the saga are expected to be discussed, including the recent announcement of the Worldsoul Saga, which will unfold across three expansions.
The event will kick off with a concert titled "World of Warcraft: 20 Years of Music," featuring an orchestra and three choirs. Developers who have been involved with the series over these 30 years will reflect on its evolution. The first expansion of the new saga, The War Within, was already launched on August 26 of this year, while the next two, Midnight and The Last Titan, are scheduled to be completed by 2030.
Additionally, viewers can expect some surprises during the broadcast, with a promise not to miss any special moments. This event is designed as an alternative to the BlizzCon 2024, which will not take place, although the company is considering its return in the future. Throughout the year, Blizzard has chosen to make announcements and hold events individually for each of its franchises.
