HP claims the title of the world's most powerful mini PC, and yes, it's a workstation with AMD.

The HP Z2 Mini G1a will easily fit into any workspace.

The HP Z2 Mini G1a is a new compact workstation designed to meet the needs of professionals requiring high performance for demanding tasks such as artificial intelligence processing, 3D design, and graphic rendering. This cutting-edge model is equipped with the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 395 processor, which offers up to 16 cores and 32 threads, with clock speeds ranging from 3.0 GHz at its base frequency to a maximum of 5.1 GHz.

With dimensions of 3.4 x 6.6 x 7.9 inches and a weight of 5.07 pounds, the Z2 Mini G1a presents itself as a versatile option that fits any workspace, capable of being placed on a desk, mounted behind a monitor, or in a rack to optimize space use. This workstation also supports memory of up to 128GB of LPDDR5X, with the possibility of allocating up to 96GB directly to the graphics processing unit.

Regarding storage, users have the option to configure dual NVMe modules that offer RAID capacities of up to 8TB, ensuring both speed and reliability. Among its connectivity features, the Z2 Mini G1a includes Thunderbolt 4 ports, USB Type-C, and Ethernet, as well as optional modules for additional USB ports and enhanced network options. It is also compatible with Wi-Fi 7, allowing for advanced wireless connections.

This system is capable of supporting up to four 4K monitors simultaneously, facilitating multitasking in professional environments. HP has announced that the device is made using 60% recycled plastics, 20% recycled steel, and its outer packaging is 100% sourced sustainably. Pricing information has not yet been released, but it is anticipated that the HP Z2 Mini G1a will launch in late 2025.
