The recently leaked images, which seem to be official marketing shots, have been shared by a well-known leaker.
Recently, new leaks have emerged about the Motorola Razr Plus, a device expected to arrive in 2025. This new foldable smartphone from Motorola seems to be designed to compete directly with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip. The leaked images, attributed to well-known leaker Evan Blass, appear to be official marketing shots of the finished device. Outside of the United States, this model is also known as the Moto Razr 60 Ultra.
Among the images, one stands out showing a person recording a tennis match, using the phone's folded screen to display the action to the subject being filmed. This feature resembles home video cameras that allowed users to flip the screen to see what was being recorded, akin to an enhanced "selfie." Another image offers a closer look at the hinge system, which appears to be robust and flexible, although it is not entirely clear how this will impact the screen. The last image shows the phone closed, with access to applications in its folded format. However, no images of the fully unfolded interior screen have been shown, raising uncertainty about the continuity between both halves at the fold line.
As for color options, the Razr Plus is expected to be available in black, red, silver, and a burnt orange. Previous speculation suggests that the device will feature a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, up to 128GB of RAM, and a 4,275mAh battery. The internal screen should remain at 6.9 inches, similar to last year's model. The launch could take place in June, following last year's trend.
In other news about the Razr Plus, minimal changes in design are anticipated compared to the previous generation. The structure of the device is expected to remain similar, without significant alterations to the dimensions of the internal and external screens. Additionally, the lower rear part will continue to have a synthetic leather finish, but with slight differences in the stitching pattern compared to the previous model.
Furthermore, the leak suggests that this new model could finally receive a major upgrade in its processor, which has been a long-standing demand. According to recent rumors, the Razr Plus could include a high-performance Qualcomm chipset, thus enhancing its previous specifications. A listing on the CPU benchmark platform Geekbench reveals a device referred to as "Motorola Razr Ultra" with impressive CPU specifications, including an eight-core architecture.
