iPhone 16 Pro Users Facing Interface Interruptions and Camera Failures.
Reddit forums and the Apple community are filled with complaints about the iPhone 16 Pro series, where users have reported issues such as unexpected crashes, frozen screens, overheating, and camera failures.
The experience with the iPhone 16 Pro has been, so far, satisfactory, but not without complications. Since the first use, the device froze, forcing a reset of the settings and increasing anxiety about the possibility of losing data. In the following weeks, issues with an unresponsive screen arose, requiring a restart of the phone after unlocking it. Despite switching from the beta version to the stable version of iOS 18, the failures persisted across various applications, including the camera and email.
After reviewing different discussion forums and social media posts, two predominant issues were identified: overheating, linked to battery drain, and random crashes, particularly in the camera app. Some users experienced unexpected restarts, both while charging and during normal use of the device. Several comments highlighted that the phone would turn completely black during use, causing frustration.
Moreover, the camera app appears to be the most affected, with reports of failures when trying to use zoom or take basic photos. Some users noted that the app would close when attempting to capture images, and there were even difficulties recording videos in 4K. Other issues also arose in various native functions of the phone, such as Siri or the settings, and these problems even affected third-party applications.
It is noteworthy that glitches and system failures are reported in the user interface and animations, and restarting the system does not always resolve the issues. Some users faced problems with the keyboard, where the device would not register presses, hindering their daily work. At this time, it is unclear whether the problems are a result of a faulty update or bugs in the applications. Apple has yet to comment on these incidents or release a fix via a software update.
