Veterans of Call of Duty know that the Pack-A-Punch machine is essential in Zombies mode, and this remains relevant in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, where the difficulty increases with new zombies, maps, and challenges. As the rounds progress, enemies become harder to eliminate, and basic weapons become ineffective against the approaching waves. To keep up with this increase in difficulty, it is vital to upgrade weapons by using the Pack-A-Punch, though first, you must locate the machine on each map.
In Liberty Falls and Terminus, there is an upgrade station that appears in a fixed location, but accessing them is not straightforward. Below are the steps to find each Pack-A-Punch machine in Black Ops 6.
How to Find the Pack-A-Punch in Terminus
To access the Pack-A-Punch in Terminus, you need to follow a series of steps that begin in the Bio Lab area, which requires restoring power first. Remember that you need to spend Essence to unlock the paths to these areas, but the objective markers will point you in the right direction.
- Head to the Living Quarters and locate the generator.
- Spend 500 Essence to activate it; a 30-second timer will start, and you must protect it from zombies trying to destroy the generator.
- Find the second generator in the Living Quarters and repeat the process.
- Do the same with the generator in the Bio Lab. If any of the generators are destroyed while you defend them, you must finish that round before you can try again.
- Once all three generators are active, the objective marker will guide you to the flooded area under the Bio Lab. Submerge yourself in the water and activate the inclined elevator that will raise the Pack-A-Punch to the surface. After this, you can go up and use the machine.
How to Find the Pack-A-Punch in Liberty Falls
Locating the Pack-A-Punch in Liberty Falls is more straightforward, although it requires a larger amount of Essence. Just like with the previous machine, the objective markers will help guide the way, which can be followed in the following manner:
- Spend 1,500 Essence to unlock the barrier under the Motor Lodge.
- Go down to the bowling alley and spend 1,750 Essence to open the door to the outside.
- Follow the path up the stairs to the church and unlock the next barrier for 2,000 Essence.
- Approach the church doors and open the dimensional membrane with another 2,250 Essence.
- Cross the doors into the Dark Aether and head to the back of the church, where you will have access to the Pack-A-Punch machine.
In both maps, the Pack-A-Punch will require the same amount of Essence for upgrades, which are 5,000, 15,000, and 30,000 Essence respectively, allowing you to upgrade weapons up to three times.
