BlizzCon will return in 2026 after a few years of absence.
BlizzCon is returning, but it will be until next year.
Blizzard has confirmed that its upcoming BlizzCon conference will take place on September 12 and 13, 2026. This is not an error, as the event is set for next year.
The chosen venue for this event is once again the Anaheim Convention Center. Although the company has not provided specific details about the games that will be showcased, they have indicated that, in addition to the hallmark elements of BlizzCon, such as the Opening Ceremony, in-depth panels, the Darkmoon Faire, friendly competitions, interactive gaming experiences, and more, they intend to significantly elevate this iconic celebration, aiming to create a memorable experience for all attendees. Ticket sales will be announced at a later date.
The last edition of BlizzCon took place in 2023, where details were revealed about the first expansion of Diablo IV, new expansions for World of Warcraft, the inclusion of Mauga in Overwatch, among other announcements. A virtual event called "BlizzConline" was also held in 2021 and an in-person edition took place in November 2019.
