Joe Rogan is not in the top position, but he is very close.
The list of the most popular podcasts of the year in the United States, compiled by Apple, has been released and presents no major surprises. The podcast that has taken the top spot is The Daily, produced by The New York Times, followed by Crime Junkie, while The Joe Rogan Experience holds the third position.
In addition to the general list, Apple shared ten different lists that include the Best New Shows, led by The Tucker Carlson Show, and the Most Popular Series, where Serial ranks first. There is also a list of the Most Shared Shows, with Huberman Lab leading in this area. The company has yet to reveal the Show of the Year, with the announcement expected on December 3.
Among the highlighted lists are the most listened-to new podcasts, featuring titles such as The Rise and Fall of Ruby Franke and Blood is Thicker: The Hargan Family Killings. For podcast series, some of the most prominent are Serial, Up and Vanished, and Dr. Death.
