YouTube Music 2024 Recap: How to Get Yours.

The new YouTube Music summary feature for 2024 is now available, but not all users seem satisfied with its results. Although YouTube Music fans can now get a breakdown of their listening habits and fun graphics, this option is only accessible to some users. The 2024 summary experience will be offered exclusively in the YouTube Music and YouTube mobile apps, with no option to access it from the web. However, the corresponding playlist can be searched for in the web version.
Users with a Premium subscription will be able to enjoy background audio in the summary stories, which will not be available to those using the free version of the platform or viewing their summary in the main app.
For those who can access the summary, a promotional banner is expected to appear below the "markers" section in the mobile apps. If it is not visible, one can go to their profile and select the "Your Summary" option for access.
This year's summary will include statistics about music videos, mood perceptions, and integration with Google Photos, with the central theme of "your musical character." However, not all feedback has been positive. Some users have expressed their dissatisfaction on social media, pointing out that their summaries do not accurately reflect their musical activity and showing disappointment about its release in late November instead of waiting until the end of the calendar year.
