Your 2024 Spotify playlist in a bottle is ready to be discovered.
Check if your energy for 2025 is compatible with that of 2024.
Over the course of a year, it's common for musical tastes to change, and this has been my case. For me, 2024 has been a year of musical discoveries. Compared to January of this year, my preferences are somewhat different. I've noticed this thanks to the availability of Playlist in a Bottle on Spotify, which has been reintroduced for the second consecutive year.
If you are a Spotify fan, you'll remember that last year you had the opportunity to encapsulate three songs that resonated with you the most. Now, the time to unveil that musical capsule has arrived, but there is a deadline of January 31 to access the 2024 Playlist in a Bottle. This period is crucial for Spotify's personalized features, and Playlist in a Bottle serves as a fun complement to the popular Spotify Wrapped feature, which is highly anticipated by users.
Since its launch in 2023, Playlist in a Bottle has proven to be a small but significant feature, providing you with a comparative glimpse into how your musical preferences have evolved since the beginning of last year. I’ve tried to open my 2024 Playlist in a Bottle on two occasions, but I haven’t been given the option to create a new one for the upcoming year. This leads us to assume that the feature may not return, although we have consulted Spotify for confirmation about its future.
Remember that January 31 is the deadline to access your 2024 Playlist in a Bottle capsule. If you have trouble accessing it, here’s how to do it.
To find and open your Spotify Playlist in a Bottle, head to the app on your mobile device. You can go to spotify.com/playlistinabottle or search for 'Playlist in a Bottle' in the app's search hub. Once you find it, select 'Claim Your Playlist,' and you will be guided through an interactive tour to unveil the songs you saved a year ago. After that, you have the option to save, share, and listen to your new playlist, but remember that it is only available until January 31.
