You will be able to try Monster Hunter Wilds next week, months before its official release on February 28.

Capcom offers fans the chance to try out Monster Hunter Wilds early through an open beta test.

One of the most anticipated releases in the near future is Monster Hunter Wilds. The new installment of Capcom's popular series is set to launch on February 28, but players will get to experience a preview through an open beta test taking place next week.

PlayStation Plus subscribers will have the opportunity to be the first to access this beta, starting at 11 PM ET on Monday, October 28. This testing phase will last for 48 hours. Subsequently, the servers will be available for all PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC players on October 31, also at 11 PM. The open beta will conclude on Sunday, November 3, at 9:59 PM.

During the beta, participants will be able to create both their character and their feline companion, the Palico. Additionally, character creation data will be transferable to the full game, and players will receive a virtual pendant and other rewards for their participation. The story trial in the beta will include two hunts: one with basic tutorials and another that allows exploration of the environment while riding a Seikret animal. Players will be able to tackle both missions in online multiplayer mode (Monster Hunter Wilds supports cross-play) or receive assistance from computer-controlled hunters.
