Web browsers are about to experience another disruption.

The Browser Company, responsible for the Arc browser, has announced that a new browser is on the way. However, it is not Arc 2.0.

The company behind Arc, a browser that has brought innovation to the traditional web browser environment, is working on a new project. Josh Miller, co-founder and CEO of the company, has confirmed through a YouTube video that a completely new browser is in development, although details such as the name or release date have not yet been revealed.

The goal of this new tool is to provide users with a hassle-free initial experience, focusing on making the first 90 seconds straightforward and engaging. In the meantime, Arc will continue to receive stability updates and bug fixes. Miller has stated that the team is committed to addressing user needs and that he is pleased with Arc's current features, although they are open to suggestions.

The company plans to dedicate several years to the development of this unnamed browser, which aims to be a proactive application platform centered around artificial intelligence. This new browser is expected to be more appealing than Arc, featuring functionalities like horizontal tabs and automated tasks that simplify everyday activities, such as transferring data between business applications or obtaining order numbers for customer support.

Although there is no official release date, it is speculated that the browser could debut in early 2025. Miller has noted that Arc, with its complexity and unique features, attracts more tech enthusiasts than average users, and more details about the anticipated browser's features and name are expected to be revealed soon.
