Two Attractive Affordable Bluetooth Turntables Arrive in the UK Just in Time for Record Store Day 2025.
Choose between options with or without speakers for your convenience when enjoying vinyl records.
The new release from the British company Majority, two Bluetooth turntables, arrives at a perfect time as Record Store Day 2025 approaches, scheduled for April 12. These models are presented at accessible prices, starting with the £169 Folio, which is characterized as a complete system with built-in stereo speakers, Bluetooth connectivity, and the ability to play and record from USB. This turntable includes an Audio-Technica AT3600L moving magnet cartridge, a die-cast metal platter, and a pre-balanced tonearm.
In addition to using the integrated speakers, the Folio allows for connection to an amplifier via RCA inputs and has an auxiliary input for devices that do not transmit wirelessly. A standout feature is the pitch control, which allows users to adjust the playback speed, something uncommon in turntables in this price range.
On the other hand, the second option, the Stylo, is priced at £199 and is presented as a more exclusive alternative, lacking built-in speakers but maintaining Bluetooth connectivity. Similar to the Folio, it also uses the AT3600L cartridge. The platter is made of aluminum, while the tonearm is constructed from carbon fiber and features an adjustable counterweight, along with the pitch control feature.
Both models are attractive and have solid specifications, suggesting that if their sound performance is satisfactory, they could be considered among the best turntables on the market. However, they will have to compete with options such as Sony's PS-LX310BT, which is currently offered at a promotional price, as well as Audio-Technica's LP60BT and LP70BT models, which have received very positive reviews.
