Tim Walz and AOC to Face Off in a Madden Match on Twitch.
Will he run four verticals?
Governor Tim Walz will be back on Twitch, but this time he will actively participate in a video game session. Recently, Kamala Harris's campaign organized a live stream of a Walz rally, combining it with a World of Warcraft stream. However, this Sunday, Walz will join Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) to play Madden NFL on the platform.
The goal of this stream is to attract the attention of young men, a demographic that tends to show favorable leanings towards Trump in polls. Ocasio-Cortez already has experience in streaming, having famously played Among Us before the 2020 election, as well as sessions in July 2023 where she played Pico Park and Gartic Phone. She is also a fan of League of Legends.
As for Walz, who is known for his passion for Dreamcast and for being a successful high school football coach, he will make his video game debut on Twitch. We might even see him play Crazy Taxi in the future.
The stream on Sunday will start at 3 PM ET on AOC's Twitch channel, and it will also be co-streamed on Kamala Harris's channel.
