Three Netflix Series I Stopped Watching and Have No Intention of Resuming.

I stopped everything and didn't go back.

Netflix offers a wide variety of content that can keep viewers engaged; however, it also has numerous titles that can lead many to abandon them. While some series are considered among the best on the platform, they don't always manage to capture the necessary interest for viewers to continue watching, a common experience for many. Personally, I have had to set aside several series midway through the season with no intention of resuming them. Below are three Netflix shows that I decided to abandon and the reasons behind my decision.

Riverdale
Based on the characters from Archie Comics, this series follows Archie and his friends as they face the challenges of adolescence and uncover dark secrets in their town. The first two seasons captured my attention with their compelling drama and unexpected twists. However, as the story progressed, the scripts became strange and unbelievable, introducing elements like cults and surreal situations. Personally, I lost interest after the introduction of absurd plots in the third season, specifically with elements like floating babies and the Gargoyle King.

The Night Agent
Starring Gabriel Basso as an FBI agent who answers an emergency line in the White House, the series delves into a conspiracy involving a mole in the U.S. government. Its adaptation of Matthew Quirk's book became one of Netflix's most-watched shows. Although the first season kept me hooked with its thrilling action, the second season did not meet my expectations. Despite Peter becoming an experienced agent, the narrative slowed down too much and focused on political intrigues that failed to capture my attention.

Elite
This Spanish teen drama tells the story of a diverse group of students at a prestigious private school. The first season centered on the clash between three working-class students who enter this institution and the wealthy elite, culminating in a murder. The show initially stood out for its complex relationships and authentic characters. However, the departure of the original cast after the third season and the introduction of new characters made me lose connection. This, combined with repetitive plots, diminished my interest in the complicated lives of the characters in Elite.
