This device combines the advantages of modern handheld consoles with a retro design reminiscent of the Game and Watch era. According to Ayaneo, their focus is on providing “pure, raw gaming pleasure.”

The term “Micro” fits the device perfectly, as it features a 3.5-inch screen with a resolution of 640P. However, don't let its size fool you; its 115% sRGB color accuracy allows classics to look more vibrant than on their original devices. Additionally, the 3:2 aspect ratio eliminates black borders. While 3.5 inches may seem small compared to most phones, it is larger than that of the Game Boy Micro.

The Ayaneo Pocket Micro Classic is equipped with a robust cooling fan that keeps its compact and comfortable form even during long gaming sessions. It also offers different battery modes, allowing users to choose between maximizing battery life or performance. Regarding games, Ayaneo mentions that it is compatible with Game Boy Advance titles, although it does not come with pre-installed software, so you'll need to provide your own games.
