Teclast has presented its new tablet P50AI, which features an Allwinner A733 eight-core processor and an NPU that delivers performance of 3 TOPS, enabling it to carry out multiple AI-driven tasks. These capabilities include video enhancement, color optimization, gesture control without touching the screen, and text extraction. Additionally, it incorporates a posture awareness function that notifies users when they are slouching.
The P50AI boasts an 11-inch IPS display that offers a refresh rate of 90Hz, ensuring smooth visuals. In terms of storage and memory, the device is available with up to 16GB of memory (6GB LPDDR5 RAM and 10GB virtual), along with 128GB of UFS3.0 internal storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB via a MicroSD card. It operates on Android 15 and TeclastOS, including a PC mode that allows for a desktop-like experience where multiple windows can be opened, resized, and organized, in addition to connecting a keyboard and mouse.
A standout feature of the P50AI is its two USB-C ports, which can be used simultaneously. The main port supports data transfers of up to 10Gbps and offers video output via DisplayPort (DP), allowing the tablet to connect to external displays. Such functionalities in an affordable tablet, which can also function as a portable monitor, are particularly intriguing.
In terms of connectivity, the device offers Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4.
