This is what Samsung's first Android XR headset looks like in person.
This is the viewer of the Moohan Project.
Samsung has showcased its headset known as Project Moohan at the Galaxy Unpacked event, allowing attendees for the first time to take photographs of the device. While this is not the first time it has been presented, it is the first time that captures of it have been permitted. At first glance, the headset bears similarities to Apple's Vision Pro, while also reminiscent of the discontinued version of Meta's Quest Pro.
This device, which Samsung is collaborating on with Google, runs on Android XR, an operating system specifically designed for headsets and smart glasses. A colleague was able to test Project Moohan at the end of last year, providing a more detailed insight into its use and comfort.
Samsung's initial intention is to launch Project Moohan for developers, although its availability to the general public will not be immediate. During the event, various images of the headset were shared, showcasing its design and features.
