The Vivo V50 demonstrates that even budget devices can have large capacity batteries.

The Vivo V50 is now officially available in India and other markets, although it is still unclear if it will reach Western markets.

The Vivo V50 has been recently presented, and although the budget device does not show significant changes compared to its predecessor, it stands out for having a significantly larger battery of 6,000mAh. This new model also includes 90W wired charging, designed to make the most of its powerful battery.

The incorporation of silicon carbide batteries has caused a true revolution in battery technology, allowing manufacturers to offer longer battery life in compact and affordable devices without compromising performance. In addition to battery improvements, the Vivo V50 shares many features with the Vivo V40. It has a 6.77-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a slight curvature on all sides, giving it a more modern appearance. It also features Diamond Shield Glass, which enhances the device's durability.

In terms of screen brightness, the V50 can reach up to 4,500 nits, a level more than sufficient for use in full daylight. However, it is advisable to adjust its brightness at night or activate the ambient brightness option to avoid excessive glare.

This device can include up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, and its operation is based on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. The back of the device houses a trio of 50MP cameras, as well as a front camera of the same resolution. Currently, the Vivo V50 is available in several Asian markets, and it has not yet been confirmed whether it will arrive in Western markets. It is estimated that if launched in the U.S., its price could be around $500.
