The PlayStation Network Started the Weekend with an Outage.
It's not ideal for those looking to spend the weekend playing.
PlayStation console owners faced a challenging start to the weekend as they experienced network interruptions. During Friday afternoon, widespread failures on PlayStation Network began to be reported, according to a downtime monitoring service. While these kinds of issues usually don’t last long, what was unusual was that for some users, the disruption continued into Saturday morning. The official PlayStation server status page confirmed that its services have been experiencing problems since that morning, and in my case, my PS5 was unable to load the online friends list.
This situation can create various complications. Of course, if PSN isn’t working, playing online becomes difficult, but there’s also the risk that users may not be able to access digitally purchased games. Personally, I haven’t encountered that issue yet, but it’s a possibility. It’s expected that Sony will resolve these problems soon, allowing those who are not interested in football to enjoy their weekend.
