The OnePlus 13 has recently made its debut in China, and its global launch is expected to take place in January 2025. Currently, it is only available in the Chinese market, but OnePlus has confirmed the international launch date through an official statement. Although OnePlus websites in other regions mention that the device will be "available soon," more details about the exact launch date are expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.
The strategy of launching the phone first in China is not surprising, as it is common practice for the brand. This model will be available in three color options: Midnight Ocean, Black Eclipse, and Arctic Dawn worldwide. It has been reported that the global availability of the OnePlus 13 will coincide with the release of new wireless earbuds and a smartwatch, likely the OnePlus Watch 3.
Regarding specifications, the OnePlus 13 is equipped with the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, backed by impressive RAM of up to 24GB and storage of 1TB, although these details may vary by region. It offers a large 6,000 mAh battery that supports 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging, significantly improved compared to the previous model which had a 5,400 mAh battery.
The phone features a 6.82-inch AMOLED display, with a resolution of 1440 x 3168 pixels, and a 50MP triple-lens main camera that includes 3x optical zoom. On the front, it has a 32MP selfie camera. The OnePlus 13 runs on OxygenOS 15, which is OnePlus's customized version based on Android 15. Reviews of the device are expected to be published once it has been thoroughly tested.
