Belkin has launched a new model of affordable wireless earbuds called Soundform Isolate.
Belkin, a recognized brand in the accessory space for devices, has taken a significant step in the world of personal audio by introducing its first wireless over-ear headphones with active noise cancellation, called Soundform Isolate, during CES 2025. Priced at $60, the headphones are available for preorder now in sand and black colors.
These headphones are not designed to be essential for audiophiles, but Belkin aims to offer an affordable option for those who want a comfortable pair of headphones with active noise cancellation (ANC) technology. Their foldable design allows for easy portability, while the CloudCushion ear cups promise "soft as a pillow" comfort. The battery life is impressive, providing 40 hours of use with ANC activated and up to 60 hours when it's turned off. They also feature a transparency mode that lets you hear the environment.
Regarding connectivity, the Soundform Isolate uses Bluetooth 5.4 and supports multipoint connections to pair with up to two devices simultaneously. Although information suggests that the controls are touch-sensitive, images indicate that many functions are handled via physical buttons. In addition to wireless functionality, the package includes two types of wired audio cables: a USB-C to USB-C cable for digital audio and charging, and a 3.5mm analog cable for non-digital sources. There is also a built-in "relaxation" track that plays ocean wave sounds for downtime.
Belkin also introduced a new series of budget-friendly wireless headphones, called Soundform Anywhere, featuring a semi-open design similar to Apple AirPods, although their price has yet to be revealed. According to the brand, these headphones will offer up to 27 hours of total battery life (up to 7 hours per charge and an additional 20 hours from the charging case). A quick 10-minute charging time will allow for an additional 90 minutes of playback. Each earbud is equipped with ENC microphones for clear call quality and has an IPX4 rating, ensuring good resistance to sweat and splashes. Additionally, the charging case includes a mini-lanyard for attachment to a keychain or zipper.
