The Honor Magic V4 could soon become the thinnest foldable in the world.

The new Honor Magic V4, a foldable phone, could be presented in the coming weeks and become the thinnest in the world.

The Honor Magic V3 currently stands out as the world's thinnest foldable phone, but this title could change soon with the arrival of the OPPO Find N5, set to launch this Thursday. This new device could surpass it in thinness within weeks. Trusted sources have indicated that the announcement of the Honor Magic V4 is expected in May or June. Although little is known about this device, it is anticipated to be thinner than its predecessor, and given the OPPO Find N5, the difference shouldn’t be significant. When unfolded, the Honor Magic V3 has a thickness of 4.35 mm, while the OPPO Find N5 reaches an impressive measurement of 4.2 mm.

The Honor Magic V4 is expected to be equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, just like the OPPO Find N5 and the Samsung Galaxy S25 series. It may also feature a 6,000 mAh battery. In recent years, one of the main drawbacks of foldable phones has been their size and durability. Although the early models from Samsung faced several durability issues, technological advancements have allowed for significant improvements in more recent models, such as the Galaxy Z Fold 6, which has contributed to their reliability.

However, a thinner foldable phone is not necessarily better than its predecessors. The combination of increased thinness with improvements in internal components and more flexible displays is what may determine the success of these devices in the market. The coming years are anticipated to be crucial for the popularity of foldable phones. Alongside the new models mentioned, Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 7 this year. Additionally, Apple may launch its first foldable iPhone next year.

In another context, just as the Magic4 and Magic4 Pro from Honor have been presented as the company’s flagship devices, details about their availability and prices have also generated interest. The Magic4 Pro, which includes 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, will be priced at €1,099 (approximately $1,227), while the Magic4 will cost €899 (around $1,005). Although Honor has not provided a definitive release date, it mentioned that the devices will be available between late March and June of this year.

The design of the Magic4 continues with Honor’s distinctive aesthetic, utilizing the "Muse Eye" camera module. This model not only features an advanced camera system but also includes innovative characteristics that may interest technology enthusiasts.
