Motorola has unveiled its new device, the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion, marking the beginning of a highly anticipated series of Edge 60 smartphones. This model stands out with its four curved edges display, which seamlessly integrates with the back panel, creating a minimal bezel. The available renders showcase a full-screen design that promises to be impressive.
The company continues its collaboration with Pantone, offering a selection of three vibrant and appealing colors for the Edge 60 Fusion. This model becomes the first from the company to incorporate Moto AI features, which are already integrated into its operating system. Among the AI features are audio and text note transcription and summarization, as well as a generative image creation tool known as Magic Canvas, all operational on Android 15.
In terms of color, the device comes in four variants: a warm pink tone called Pantone Zephyr, a metallic blue named Pantone Slipstream, and a green known as Pantone Amazonite. A fourth version reminiscent of the elegant gray Pantone Grisaille, featured in previous models, is also anticipated. This is appealing to consumers looking for colorful and distinctive options.
The Edge 60 Fusion's display is a 6.67-inch OLED panel with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Inside, the smartphone is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor, along with options of up to 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. The back houses a 50 MP main camera and a 13 MP ultra-wide camera, along with a 3-in-1 light sensor that aids in exposure and color balance. The ultra-wide camera also allows for a macro mode. A 5,200 mAh battery supports the device's operation, with 68 W TurboPower fast wired charging. Another highlight is its 32 MP front camera and stereo speakers.
On the other hand, the company has also launched the Motorola Edge (2024), which is positioned as a competitive option against other smartphones in the market. This new model features a sleek design with a vegan leather back in a Midnight Blue finish, promising better grip. Additionally, it has an IP68 rating, making it resistant to water and dust.
The Chicago-based firm has introduced its Motorola Edge 50 series, which has significantly improved in areas such as the camera, thanks to the implementation of artificial intelligence technologies. Each model, including the Motorola Edge 50 Pro, is available in several color options, including pearlescent white, eclipse black, and lavender purple, each with distinct textures that ensure a good grip.
In summary, Motorola continues to innovate and offer devices that cater to both users seeking advanced technology and those with tighter budgets.
