Here’s what the home screen of the Switch 2 looks like.

Take a look at a section of the Switch 2 interface that you will see frequently.

During a recent Nintendo presentation, an overview of the new Switch 2 interface was provided, although the time dedicated to this topic was limited. On Nintendo's website, a small image of the Switch 2 homescreen can be seen, highlighting the location of the eShop icon. Despite some subtle aesthetic changes, the interface is largely similar to that of the original Switch. It is likely that a darker interface option will also be available, similar to what is found on Nintendo's previous console.

No details have been provided about the possibility of customizing the Switch 2 interface, as seen on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles. Nevertheless, Nintendo thoroughly described the specifications of the new system and its features, along with information about how pre-orders will be available prior to its launch in June.

Although customizing the homescreen is not usually a decisive factor for consumers when choosing a console, having the option to set a personal wallpaper may make users more inclined to use the device. This could be a strategy that Nintendo considers, as the Switch 2 is designed to be a gaming console that also allows for video calls and screen sharing.
