Sony sets the price of the Bravia Theater Bar 6 soundbar at $650.
Sony has announced the prices of several home products from the Bravia line, with the standout being the Theater Bar 6, which has a starting price of $650.
Sony has revealed the prices of several products that will be launching soon, including the Bravia Theater Bar 6, a soundbar with a 3.1.2 system. This device will cost $650 for consumers in the United States. It includes a wireless subwoofer and is compatible with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X audio formats. Additionally, the soundbar features mixing technology that allows it to transform stereo content into three-dimensional sound in situations where immersive formats are not available. Thanks to a dedicated center speaker and an AI-powered tool called Voice Zoom 3, dialogue is significantly enhanced.
On the other hand, the Bravia Theater System 6 is a more robust system with 5.1 channels, priced at $770. This all-in-one set includes a soundbar, a subwoofer, and rear speakers. It's important to note that the sound from this bar is different from the Bar 6, despite the similarity in names. However, this system also supports Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, and its subwoofer features a somewhat different design than the one included with the Bar 6. Moreover, this system offers stereo mixing to transform content into three-dimensional audio using a proprietary Sony algorithm.
The Bravia Theater Rear 8 speakers are compatible with the company's soundbars and utilize 360 Spatial Sound Mapping technology to calibrate the system according to the acoustics of each living room. The price for these speakers is $450. While the prices have been announced, official release dates have not yet been provided. Sony intends to begin selling these products in late spring.
