Samsung, a major player in the electronics industry, has confirmed that the slogan for its presentation at CES 2025 will be "AI for All: Everyday, Everywhere." Known for its wide range of products, from mobile devices to home appliances, the company has used this event to assert its position as a leader in the sector and to showcase technological innovations.
In 2024, Samsung's press conference covered typical updates such as new TVs and projectors, but also introduced highly anticipated future products. Although some advancements, like transparent MicroLED displays, will not be available immediately, the Music Frame speaker, showcased at CES 2024, is already on the market. Additionally, Ballie, a robot that has participated in CES several times, is expected to make a return, with hopes that this time an actual release date will be announced.
Anticipation for this year's conference focuses on the possibility of an improved autonomy for Ballie, aligning with the new AI-centric approach. The company has shared some updates through its online press room, highlighting appliances and refrigerators featuring artificial intelligence technology, along with a 27-inch QD-OLED gaming monitor. A collaboration with Google was also announced to develop Eclipsa, a new 3D audio technology aimed at competing with Dolby Atmos and DTS.
However, there are two aspects that are not expected from Samsung during the event in Las Vegas. First, it is unlikely that the new Galaxy S25 phone line will be unveiled, as it is conventionally announced in the second half of January, seeking to capture all media attention at that time. Second, director Michael Bay is unlikely to make an appearance, especially after his famous exit from the stage in 2014, a moment that has gone down in CES history.
