Prime Video could take over the best sports streaming feature of YouTube TV.
The Prime Video app has revealed hints about the Multiview feature.
A possible addition of the "multiview" feature has been discovered in the code of the Prime Video application, which would allow users to enjoy multiple sports events simultaneously. This information was revealed after an analysis of version 3.0.389 of the app, where multiple references to this feature were found, such as the option to "Set up your multiview" and warnings that content cannot be paused or rewound while the feature is active.
The "multiview" concept is not exclusive to Prime Video, as competing platforms like YouTube TV already offer this option. This tool allows users to follow up to four live sports broadcasts at the same time, which is advantageous for fans who want to watch multiple games without having to switch channels.
Although details about when or if this feature will be available on Prime Video have not yet been confirmed, the addition of multiview would make sense considering the platform's growing interest in live sports broadcasting. For now, we can only wait to see if Prime Video moves forward with this update and how it will be implemented.
