Sifu combines fluid, cinematic martial arts combat with roguelike mechanics, where the desire to try again is constant. However, each time your character dies, time moves forward. Upon dying, your magical amulet revives you, but at the cost of your character aging a little. With each death, your avatar not only shows visible signs of aging but also increases the damage it receives.
