Microsoft launches a new wrap for the Xbox Series X inspired by Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.

In addition, two new controller designs are presented.

Microsoft has decided to refocus attention on the customization of its Xbox Series X console with the recent unveiling of a collection of accessories inspired by the upcoming game Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. This release includes a new wrap for the console and two controllers.

The design of the Xbox Series X wrap is influenced by the spy theme of the game. Predominantly in black and white, the wrap also incorporates subtle touches of orange and a pattern that simulates layers of classified documents. This design promises to feature multiple hidden details that are sure to delight fans of the franchise.

Currently, the wrap is available for preorder at a price of $54.99 / £49.99 through the Microsoft Store, with a scheduled release date of October 23. Those who place a preorder will receive a token that grants one hour of 2XP in Black Ops 6, though this benefit has been deemed somewhat modest by some.

Microsoft's console wraps are fabric covers that fit snugly over the system, offering a new aesthetic without the need to purchase a special edition console. A limited design based on Starfield had been previously seen, and while these wraps may not be as impressive as a full special edition, they are an affordable option for those looking to refresh the look of their console.

The collection also includes two new controllers that can be purchased exclusively through Xbox Design Lab. The first is the Xbox Wireless Controller – Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, which features a design similar to the wrap, with a front plate that appears to be covered in classified documents. This controller boasts metallic orange d-pads and triggers that provide an appealing contrast.

Additionally, there is a more premium variant, the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2, which features custom rubber grips with an inverted pattern. Both controllers are compatible with Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, and PC, with prices starting at $84.98 / £84.55 and $164.98 / £137.98 respectively. Xbox Design Lab products also allow for further customization of the controller's appearance at an additional cost.
