Leaked iPhone 17 Schematics Suggest Possible Speaker Redesign in Apple Phones.

A more balanced arrangement.

New leaked schematics suggest that the iPhone 17 models could experience a redesign of their speaker layout. The CAD images, provided by a well-known leaker, offer a detailed perspective on the bottom of the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max models.

Compared to the iPhone 16, it seems that the Pro and Pro Max models of the iPhone 17 will feature an equal number of speaker holes on each side, unlike the asymmetric setup of the iPhone 16 Pro. This represents a significant change in aesthetics and possibly also in the sound quality that can be expected from these devices.

The iPhone 17 Air, which is a completely new model, has only two speakers on each side, which may indicate that Apple has had to make adjustments to the components to maintain a slim profile. While it is difficult to determine the specific impact on audio quality based solely on the available schematics, it seems that the Pro versions could include sound improvements.

Rumors surrounding the iPhone 17 family continue to grow, and leaks suggest that these new devices will notably differ from their predecessors, especially regarding the camera module. With several internal upgrades also rumored, Apple is expected to officially unveil these models in September, according to their usual schedule.
