How to Disable Alarms on the Hatch Restore 3

There are several ways to disable alarms on the Hatch Restore 3. You can do it through its mobile app or by using a button located on the back of the device. Below, we explain what you need to know.

The Hatch Restore 3 stands out as one of the best smart alarm clocks on the market. It not only offers a multitude of useful features but also comes in an attractive design that complements any nightstand. Among its many functions are meditation guides, relaxing music playback, and a screen that can illuminate in different colors to simulate a sunrise. However, its most crucial function remains that of a conventional alarm clock. Despite the variety of additional features, the operation of the alarm clock is quite simple.

The Hatch Restore 3 provides several ways to control the alarm function, making it easy to activate or deactivate, whether you're at home or on vacation. For those who want to completely disable alarms before heading out, the device has an alarm switch on the back. Simply slide this switch backward to prevent the alarms from activating. A small red indicator will light up, confirming that the alarms are disabled. To reactivate them, just slide the switch forward, making the red indicator disappear.

If you realize that you forgot to deactivate the alarms before leaving home, you can do so remotely through the Hatch Sleep mobile app. This is the same app used to set alarms and manage various routines. The steps to disable alarms on the Hatch Restore 3 are straightforward:

  1. Open the Hatch Sleep app.
  2. Scroll down to the Wake section.
  3. Locate the alarm you wish to deactivate.
  4. Toggle the switch to the Off position. This will generate an indicator showing "No active alarms."
  5. To restore the alarms, tap on the "Show deactivated alarms" message, select your alarm, and move the switch to the On position.
  6. Be sure not to close the app until the "Saving" notification disappears to avoid losing the changes.

Additionally, the Hatch Restore 3 features a new "Big Button" on the top, which functionally acts as a snooze button. When the alarm goes off in the morning, you can tap this button to activate snooze mode or hold it down to turn off the alarm. You can also tap the device screen to see the current time, which will help you decide whether to hit snooze or get up immediately.
