Guide to Registering for the Elden Ring Nightreign Beta.

FromSoftware has concluded the narrative of Elden Ring, but that doesn't mean our adventures have come to an end. A preview of Elden Ring Nightreign will be available during the beta phase.

The recent unveiling of Elden Ring Nightreign during the 2024 Game Awards has shocked fans, as many assumed that Shadow of the Erdtree would be the final return to The Lands Between. The surprise is magnified considering that the release was recent, leading to questions about whether a new FromSoftware title could be perceived so soon. This new game is not additional content but an independent cooperative gaming experience set in a parallel world to Elden Ring, incorporating elements of battle royales and extraction games.

As for the game’s beta, it is scheduled for February, although the exact dates and duration have yet to be specified. Interested players will need to follow three steps: first, access the official Elden Ring Nightreign website starting January 10. Additionally, it is recommended to subscribe to a newsletter for updates. Secondly, they must register starting January 10 for a chance to be selected. Lastly, they will need to wait for instructions on how to access the beta.

For now, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S have been confirmed for the beta, leaving PC gamers out of this phase, though a wider range of devices is expected to be included in future tests. The beta will offer "a portion of the game," but details about the characters and bosses that will be featured will be revealed closer to its February release.

On the topic of Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, players have speculated about the existence of a secret difficulty level that could heighten the challenge of the DLC. A feature called DLC+ has been discovered, indicating that those who have completed the DLC in New Game+ will face a more complex version, with more powerful enemies. A Reddit user conducted tests and shared their findings, sparking interest and discussion within the community.
