Google unveils innovative proposals for native ads in Gemini.

We have excellent proposals for native advertising concepts.

Google, through its CEO Sundar Pichai, has indicated that while the AI assistant Gemini currently does not include advertising, the company has plans and "very good ideas" for integrating ads in the future. During a call with investors, Pichai addressed the issue of monetizing the assistant, emphasizing that a free option and subscriptions for accessing advanced features are currently available.

A Wells Fargo analyst raised the question of how Google envisions the monetization opportunity for Gemini and whether there is a planned advertising component. Pichai mentioned that although they are currently focused on improving user experience and subscriptions, advertising has always been an integral part of their business strategy. He referred to the successful implementation of ads on platforms like YouTube, stating that as they move forward, more options will be offered to users. However, he added that this year, the main focus will continue to be on subscription development.

With this statement, it seems that ads will not be implemented in Gemini at least during this year. However, since Google's business model is based on advertising, it is likely that we will see its introduction at some point in the future. Additionally, in the earnings report, the company also revealed a planned investment of $75 billion in capital expenditures to remain competitive in the AI race.
