Google can automatically create a podcast from your Discover feed.

The new experimental feature from Google allows you to turn your Discover feed into a podcast.

Google has developed a new experiment within Search Labs called "Daily Listen," which transforms the Discover feed into a professional podcast experience. Discover is a curated space on mobile devices that presents articles and videos aligned with users' interests, identified through their search queries and other activities.

This new functionality has similarities with a tool presented last year for NotebookLM, which allowed users to turn entered content into a podcast hosted by two presenters who interacted naturally. Daily Listen, in contrast, generates episodes of approximately five minutes that provide a summary of the topics the user usually follows.

To access this option, one must opt-in to participate in Search Labs by tapping the jar icon in the upper left corner of the Google app. Once active, the Daily Listen card can be found below the search bar in the Google app on both Android and iOS. By tapping on it, a podcast is generated that displays a text transcription and audio controls, allowing the user to easily see the start and end of each section in the scrolling interface. Actions such as pausing, stopping, skipping, and rewinding the audio can also be performed. Additionally, users can provide feedback to Google through a "like" or "dislike" system.

As users scroll down, they will find a series of related stories grouped according to the podcast sections, in case they are looking for additional information. This new service will launch in the United States, although its availability in other countries has not yet been defined, and there are no guarantees of a wide release.
