Buffalo enhances its popular small-sized USB drive, increasing its capacity to 2TB and incorporating new software to accelerate file transfer speeds similar to an SSD.
If you are looking for the best new USB flash drive, Buffalo has an interesting offer for you.
Buffalo has introduced its new series of USB flash drives, the SSD-SCHU3A, recognized for its quality. This new model leverages USB 3.2 technology, allowing for very fast transfer speeds, with storage capacities of up to 2TB. According to Buffalo, users will be able to enjoy read speeds of up to 1,050MB/s and write speeds of approximately 900MB/s or more.
The compact design of the SSD-SCHU3A makes it easy to connect to most devices like PCs, TVs, and game consoles, even in tight spaces. It includes a USB Type-C conversion adapter and comes formatted in exFAT, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of equipment.
One of the standout features of this drive is its ability to manage simultaneous recordings of TV programs, allowing the recording of one in 2K and another in 4K, a particularly useful feature for smart TVs. The dimensions of the drive are small: 23mm wide, 68.2mm deep, and 11mm thick, with a weight of only 17g, and it boasts a robust construction that promises resistance to shocks and drops.
Buffalo has also included the CopyBooster application, designed for Windows, which aims to enhance copying speed—a valuable resource for those needing to transfer large amounts of files simultaneously, such as in business projects.
The SSD-SCHU3A is already available on the market, with prices ranging from 10,600 yen (£55) for the 64GB version to 35,700 yen (£180) for the 2TB model.
