BioWare commemorates Dragon Age Day by releasing a standalone version of the Dragon Age: The Veilguard character creator.

The latest update has also arrived.

BioWare has released a standalone version of the character creator from Dragon Age: The Veilguard, which can be downloaded for free. This announcement coincides with the celebration of Dragon Age Day, and it is available on PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC. In this way, those who have not yet tried the game can create a character named Rook before deciding whether to purchase the full version, and later transfer their creation to the same platform.

Along with the character creator, the game has also received a recent update and some special giveaways for Dragon Age Day. In the context of the latest patch, players can now access the wardrobe in the game and obtain iconic armor, body paint, and facial markings of the protagonist from Dragon Age 2, Hawke. These cosmetic items will be available permanently and can be found in the courtyard of the Beacon.

Patch 4 includes several improvements, such as the addition of two new complexities for Qunari in the character creator. Quality of life enhancements have also been implemented, such as the option to capture screenshots in the paused menu during dialogues and cutscenes on PC, and a button to hide or show the interface on consoles.

In addition to these updates, the patch addresses numerous technical issues, such as save loading failures, adjustments to skill icon display, and audio problems during certain missions. The update includes details on how bugs are resolved and how the overall gaming experience is improved.
